PRODUCT NAME:
RnT-DHB®
This product formulation is optimized for absorbent surfaces. It can therefore be used as an
invisible, water- and contamination-resistant, UV-stable deep hydrophobic treatment on porous
surfaces/ substrates, regardless of whether the surface is a natural stone such as sandstone,
concrete, terracotta, clay brick or stone paneling. Floor or wall claddings, building facades, functional
terracotta or roof tiles are all in the scope of application for this product.
RnT - DHB®
creates a deep hydrophobic layer that penetrates deeper into the substrate than
traditional coatings and prevents water and waterborne contaminants from entering the substrate
and causing premature deterioration. Capillary effects in e.g.marble are prevented.
An additional application of RnT-M1/ M2/ Anti Graffiti gives a thoroughly protection on the surface.

Every type of porous surface with a mineral-based origin
Concrete / Concrete blocks e.g. bridges, tunnels, cladded walls and facades
Lime stone / Sandstone ( longer function despite high abrasion of a soft substrate)
Porous granite / marble ( protection against capillary effects of water penetration)
Roof tiles / clay / Terracotta ( material upgrade, dramatic reduction of water absorbance)

2. Manual: Application by wetting the surface (spraying, dipping, rolling)
This SiO2-coating is completely networked and hardened after 24 hours. The easy-clean effect can
only be tested after this hardening phase.
Please take note from the MSDS before the application of the product. DG Class 8!
If an additional protection on the surface of the substrate is required (e.g..oleophobic effects), RnT-M-
1/2/Anti Graffiti can be applied on top after the substrate is completely dry (minimum 24 hours)
STORAGE STABILITY:
Unopened original containers can be stored for at least 2 years.
Recommended storage- and transport temperature: +3 to 30°C
CONSUMPTION:
Manual + Industrial: between 30 and 200 ml/m², depending on absorbency of the substrate
Permanence and longevity:
The UV-stability enables a lifetime performance of the coated surface – assuming it is not damaged by
abrasion.
Many competitive products like silicon oils or fluorocarbon technologies are slowly destroyed by sunlight
Abrasion resistance
Negligible on mineral surfaces due to the low abrasion resistance of the substrate.
Chemical stability:
The product is resistant to almost all standard household and industrial cleaners (with the exception of
concentrated alkaline solution).
Many competitive products do not have this property and must be reapplied.
