Overview:

 

 

The LYD 8 Nearfield 8" Speaker Monitor from Dynaudio Acoustics provides improved audio performance and a low-end precision. This speaker is suitable for smaller studios and home setups, and it utilizes a ferrite magnet system with a vented pole piece for accurate driver control.

A large-diameter voice coil surrounds the magnet for unwavering linearity. The aluminum voice coil and wire are low mass, so its transient response is quick and accurate. The diaphragm and dust cap are molded into one piece with magnesium silicate polymer.
