Overview:
The PG58-QTR from Shure is a cardioid dynamic microphone well suited for lead and backup vocal performance applications. The cardioid polar pattern is less susceptible to feedback in high volume settings, while the cartridge features a neodymium magnet for high output. Additionally, the mic features an internal shock mount to reduce handling noise, while the integrated pop filter reduces plosives and wind noise.
The durable metal construction and hardened-steel mesh ball-grill are designed to withstand the rigors of on-the-road wear and tear. The PG58 ships with a 15' / 4.57m XLR to 1/4" / 6.35mm cable, a microphone clip, a 5/8" to 3/8" (0.4 x 0.6" / 9.5 x 15.9mm) threaded adapter, and a storage bag.
